Terms of use
Last updated: May 12, 2026
These terms govern the use of Prague Promoter (the "service"). By using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. Operator
The service is operated by BB Power s.r.o., company ID (IČO) 08326223, with registered office at Kaprova 42/14, Staré Město, 110 00 Prague 1, Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. C 316982.
Contact: hello@praguepromoter.com
Website: praguepromoter.com
2. What Prague Promoter is
Prague Promoter is a curated bilingual (cs/en) calendar of public events for the gay community in Prague — club nights, sex parties, sports, trips, Pride and more.
The service is free. The goal is to make Prague's gay nightlife and community events legible for locals and visitors alike.
Some events are age-restricted (18+) and shown behind a confirmation gate.
3. Accounts and roles
Anonymous visitors can browse all public events and profiles.
Signed-in users (VIEWER role) can save events as favorites and subscribe to a personal calendar feed.
Promoters (PROMOTER role) can create and edit their team's events. Promoter profiles are set up via the "I'm organizing an event" form.
Administrators (ADMIN/OWNER) have access to content moderation, user management and publishing.
When you sign up, please provide accurate information. Accounts are personal — don't share credentials.
By registering and using the service you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. Content in the Sex category and other events marked 18+ are intended for adults only — they are shown only after you confirm you are of legal age. The service is not intended for persons under 18.
4. Event content
Event content (titles, descriptions, posters, prices, contacts) is added either by admins from publicly available sources, or directly by promoters. We try to keep content current and accurate, but we don't guarantee completeness or reliability — dates, prices and programs may change.
Always verify event details directly with the organizer (via ticket platform, their website or social media) before attending.
If content about your event is inaccurate or outdated, you can claim the event and edit it yourself, or contact us.
5. Acceptable use
While using the service, you may not:
• Post unlawful, discriminatory, hate-inciting or violence-inciting content
• Post content that violates third-party rights (copyright, trademarks)
• Spam, create fake accounts, or impersonate others
• Attempt to bypass security measures or perform automated scraping
• Advertise paid sexual services (paid companionship, escort)
Violations may result in account suspension, content removal, or permanent ban.
6. Intellectual property
The Prague Promoter brand (name, logo, visual identity) belongs to the operator. Use for journalism, partnerships or non-commercial purposes is allowed via the brand kit at /media. Discuss commercial use with us in advance.
Event posters and imagery remain the property of their authors/organizers. By submitting them you grant us permission to display them in the service.
Some event descriptions are generated by AI from provided materials — when auto-translation (cs ↔ en) is used, a visible disclaimer appears on the event.
7. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". We aim for high availability and accuracy, but we assume no liability for:
• Damage caused by inaccurate or outdated event data
• Outages caused by third parties (hosting, CDN)
• The events themselves (quality, safety, financial transactions with third parties)
Attending events is your personal decision and your responsibility.
8. Account termination
You can delete your account anytime in /account. After deletion we anonymize your personal data; audit logs remain without any link to you (see Privacy).
The operator may suspend or delete accounts in case of terms violation or prolonged inactivity.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll inform you about material changes (new data processing scope, paid features) via email or a visible banner. Minor edits (wording, clarifications) appear without notice.
The current version is always available on this page. Last updated date is shown above.
10. Governing law
The relationship between you and the operator is governed by the law of the Czech Republic. Czech courts have jurisdiction over disputes.
If you're a consumer, you can use out-of-court dispute resolution at the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz).
