Pragulic: Roman's Tour Under the Bridge

Prostitution, theft, drugs, gay topics and racial discrimination – Roman knows a thing or two about all of it.

Let him take you on a night walk through the notorious transport hubs around the main train station, where people sleep, get high, gamble and deal. You'll meet familiar faces and local celebrities. Roman will also show you where he used to live under the bridge and where people on the street still live today. Scared? No need to be – for many people, this is just normal life.

Roman is the kindest guide who would give you the shirt off his back, and he's happy to answer all the questions you've always wondered about but had no one to ask. Nothing is taboo for him, he has no self-censorship, and he answers everything with his signature honesty and humour.

P.S.: During his walk, Roman talks about the Naděje day centres, which he uses a lot himself. The centres are currently short on seasonal men's clothing. So if you'd like, you can bring a few items with you and drop them off at the day centre during the walk.

The meeting point is at Hlavní nádraží (main train station) in front of Wilsonka restaurant (formerly Potrefená husa), located right next to the entrance to the main hall.

The tour may be a bit shorter if the group is small.

It organises unconventional tours of Prague led by people with lived experience of life on the street. Thanks to their authentic stories, visitors can see the city from a different perspective, understand the reality of life without a home, and look beyond the stereotypes often attached to this topic.
