Parents' Group (CZ)

Have you learned that your child is gay, lesbian, or bisexual? Is it hard for you to accept and are you looking for a way to come to terms with it, strengthen your relationship with your child, and support them?

We invite you to a support group for parents of LGBT+ children. Come and talk about what you're going through with others in a similar situation. You can get inspired or even discover new approaches. The meetings will be led by a psychologist team with extensive experience working with LGBT+ people and their families.

The standard support group is limited to a maximum of 12 people and meets once a month. Details will be shared with registered participants.

We currently run three parent group cycles – one led by Irena Smetáčková and Jana Soukupová, the second by Jana Soukupová and Lea Roland, and the third, which is online, led by Irena Smetáčková and Aleš Kabilka. After signing up, one of the group leaders will contact you based on current availability.

Participation is free of charge. Regular attendance is not required, but it will be beneficial for you. The group is organized by sbarvouven.cz
