Parents' Support Group (CZ)

Have you learned that your child is gay, lesbian, or bisexual? Is it difficult for you to accept and are you looking for a way to come to terms with it, strengthen your relationship with your child, and support them?

We invite you to a support group for parents of LGBT+ children. Come and talk about what you're going through with other people in a similar situation. You can find inspiration or even discover new approaches. The meetings are led by psychologists with extensive experience working with LGBT+ people and their families.

The classic support group is limited to a maximum of 12 people and meets once a month. Details will be shared with registered participants.

We currently run three parents' group sessions – one led by Irena Smetáčková and Jana Soukupová, another by Jana Soukupová and Lea Roland, and a third one online, led by Irena Smetáčková and Aleš Kabilka. After signing up, one of the group leaders will contact you based on current availability.

Participation is free of charge. Regular attendance is not required, but it will be beneficial for you. The group is organized by sbarvouven.cz
